Become a Member

Membership in the Douglas County Child Development Association offers an opportunity to share the joys and challenges of the early education profession with others who understand.

The Association provides a voice for early education locally and at the state level. Membership also benefits those who are in other professions but would like the chance to contribute at a grass roots level to their community and improve the quality of care for all children. The Association is a place where like-minded people meet to discuss, to laugh, and to work together.

DCCDA Friends receive the ‘Kid Topics’ bimonthly newsletter and a discount to DCCDA training classes. As a Friends of Douglas County Children member, you may also checkout educational materials and books. You may become a Friend by filling out the form linked below and mailing it to the listed address.

If you wish to take your affiliation one step further, you may become a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. For more information or to join on-line, go to: www.naeyc.org or www.kaeyc.net. Those who join the National Association will automatically become members of DCCDA. DCCDA will be notified when you join NAEYC.
