Child Care Tuition Scholarship Programs

Child Care Tuition ScholarshipsDCCDA supports high quality child care and recognizes family’s need for assistance.

The following two scholarship programs are available to provide assistance for low-income or at risk families:

Douglas County Child Development Association Scholarship – funded by United Way of Douglas County

  • Sliding scale scholarships for families earning up to 300% Federal Poverty Level
  • Center based care
  • Keep low-income parents in the work force or training for work
  • Provide quality early education opportunities for young children who otherwise would not be able to afford it
  • FIAT Scholarship – funded by Early Childhood Block Grant from Children’s Cabinet & Trust Fund

    • Sliding scale scholarships for families earning up to 185% Federal Poverty Level
    • Center and home based care
    • Infants & Toddlers 0 – 30 months
    • Increase the availability, affordability, and quality of infant and toddler child care for at risk families
